Prayer for Teens

Papa,

I lift up the youth of Miami and ask for a godly intervention. It seems like
the youth are lost in themselves, trying to seek answers to fill the void
that only you can fill. I pray that you would pour Your Spirit upon Miami's
youth.

I ask that You would become the father to many of the teens that are
fatherless. I ask that they would not have that void in them, created by
You, exploited by the enemy. I pray that You would place people in their
lives that would reflect Your love, Your compassion, and Your touch. I pray
that the youth would know that there's a God that not only loves them, but
likes them too. I pray that You would adopt those teens that feel left out
and unwanted into your kingdom. I pray they would know a sense of community
and belonging within Your strong hands of love. May they turn to You when
they are lonely or broken hearted.

I pray that You would break off the curses of loneliness and abandonment off
our teens. I ask that You would break off the orphan spirit and replace with
Your spirit of adoption. I pray that you would remove the traps that the
enemy has laid before them to destroy them. I ask that You would make our
teens wise beyond their years. I pray that You would send your angels to
minister and protect them.

Papa, I ask that You would raise up the next generation with a sense of
purpose for You. If they don't know you, may they come to know You as Lord
and Savior. If they do know You, that they would choose to live a life that
is totally sold out to You. I pray that they would hear Your voice and Your
voice alone. I pray they wouldn't listen to their friends that would lead
them astray, to the media that would beg them to conform, or to the mocking
laughter of the crowd. May they listen to you only.

May they hear Your heartbeat Papa and know they are greatly loved.
